Job summary

Monster Energy is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator (Temp to Hire) to accurately process and manage inventory activity at remote plants and warehouses. You will identify discrepancies, coordinate with purchasing and accounting, and ensure timely month-end counts while supporting cross-functional decision-making.

The role requires a degree or commensurate experience, SAP MM experience, and the ability to travel for physical counts. Compensation is hourly, with range posted below.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent mix of education and work experience.
• Minimum 1 year of inventory related experience.
• Minimum 1 year of basic accounting experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
• Demonstrated experience with SAP Material Management Module.
• Ability to travel for physical counts when needed.

Responsibilities

• Identify and research inventory discrepancies and correct errors in SAP in real time.
• Resolve inventory issues and perform timely corrections.
• Ensure accurate month-end counts for remote plants.
• Monitor receipts, shipments, and postings for smooth product flow.
• Provide timely inventory data to the Inventory Control Lead.
• Assist reconciliation of discrepancies at month/quarter end.
• Participate in cycle counts and physical audits; travel as needed.
• Communicate inventory status and aging items to leadership for decisions.

A Day In The Life

In the position of Inventory Control Coordinator Temp to Hire, you will accurately process, input, and maintain control of all inventory material activity at remote plants and warehouses.

The Impact You'll Make

• Identify and research inventory discrepancies and correct errors in the SAP system in real time. Assist and collaborate with Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Customer Service, and Billing Departments with inventory related issues.
• Resolve inventory issues and make corrections in a timely manner.
• Ensure remote plants report accurate counts at month-end.
• Study receipts, sale order shipments, and postings to endure seamless and accurate flow of product.
• Consistently provide timely and accurate inventory information and counts to the Inventory Control Lead as needed.
• Assist Inventory Control Lead with reconciliation of inventory discrepancies at month and quarter end.
• Participate in random cycle counts, physical audits, and perform full physical counts if needed. Travel will be as needed.
• Prepare and communicate inventory status, exceptions, aging items, and reconciliation updates to leadership and cross‑functional partners to support operational decision‑making.
• Follow inventory control policies, audit requirements, and compliance procedures to ensure proper documentation, approval, and evidence retention for inventory transactions.
• Performs other inventory related duties as required.

Who You Are

• Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of Business Administration or related field of study, or combination of work experience
• Additional Experience Desired: Minimum 1 year of experience in inventory related field
• Additional Experience Desired: Minimum 1 year of experience in basic accounting
• Computer Skills Desired: Proficient skill and demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office suite.
• Demonstrated experience with SAP Material Management Module
• Able to travel to conduct physical counts when needed.

Monster Energy provides competitive total compensation. The estimated hourly pay range for this position is listed below. Actual compensation may vary based on skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.

Pay Range

$19 - $23 USD
