Job summary

Vistar is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator to monitor and maintain accuracy of inventory across distribution channels. You will compile records of quantity, type, and value of materials, ensuring efficient flow through the distribution process.

Responsibilities include counting stock, reconciling discrepancies, preparing reports, and maintaining shrink below the company standard. Requires at least 1 year in inventory within a warehouse and the ability to lift up to 90 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year inventory experience in a warehouse.
• Accurate communicator with strong math skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
• Able to work overtime as needed.
• Able to lift 10–35 lbs; up to 60–90 lbs depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Counts material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and posts inventory records.
• Compares inventories to office records or computing figures from records.
• Verifies clerical computations against physical count and adjusts errors.
• Compiles receipts or disbursements of materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies.
• Monitors inventory rotations and makes recommendations as needed.
• Prepares inventories reports such as balances, cycle counts, etc.
• Reviews and investigates daily reports.
• Maintains shrink at or below company standard.
• Prepares list of depleted items and recommends surveys of defects.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
