Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator to monitor and maintain the accuracy and adequacy of inventories across operating company facilities. You will compile and maintain records of quantity, type, and value of materials, equipment, and supplies to ensure efficient distribution processes.

The role involves counts, reconciliations, reporting, and maintaining shrink at or below company standards in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of inventory experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to communicate information accurately and apply strong math skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and intermediate general computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Counts material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and posts inventory records.
• Compares inventories to office records or computed figures from records.
• Verifies computations against physical counts and investigates discrepancies.
• Compiles receipts or disbursements of materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies.
• Monitors inventory rotations and makes recommendations as needed.
• Prepares reports such as inventory balances and weekly cycle counts.
• Reviews daily reports and maintains shrink at or below company standards.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
