Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is hiring for an Inventory Control Coordinator. The role focuses on cycle counting, inventory control, and reconciling inventories. It involves hands-on work on the warehouse floor and coordinating across departments to ensure accuracy and timely reporting.

Role requires 1–3 years warehousing experience, familiarity with WMS like SAP and Excel, and strong data accuracy. Shift is 2nd, evenings, with a $19.45/hr pay plus a $0.50 shift differential and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years warehousing experience; preferably with barcode system.
• Experience with cycle counting and inventory control.
• Knowledge of inventory systems and/or Topex.
• Working knowledge of SAP inventory.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile and data entry into customer’s system of record and the WM System.
• Analyze data for root cause analysis using Excel.
• Monitor SAP in-transit data for finance reporting.
• Compile and maintain cycle count data for management reports to customer.
• Monitor failed transactions and reconcile discrepancies.
• Coordinate between customer support, suppliers and customer on inventory issues for resolution.
• Investigate shrinkage of inventory and advise management.

The core responsibilities of this role include:

Cycle counting, Inventory

Position:Inventory Control Coordinator
Shift: 2nd shift
Days: Monday –; Friday
Hours: 3:10pm-11:10pm
Pay: $19.45 per hour+ $.50 Shift Differential

A minimum of (1) one year's experience in the following:

• Prioritizing, scheduling and planning tasks for assigned department including cycle counting and also adjustments.
• Coordinating tasks and schedules across all departments, including inbounds, Inventory Control.
• Experience using a commercial WMS (warehouse management system) such as Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA, SAP, etc.
• Microsoft Office software, including Excel is required.
• This is a hands‑on role that is spent most of shift out on the warehouse floor and moving to and from multiple areas of the building to include extended period of standing and walking.

Role Purpose

Verify and reconcile inventories of the customer, their suppliers, and of DHL. Complete physical inventories and compile/analyze reports. Act as an interface between customer support, suppliers and customer management on inventory issues for resolution.

Key Accountabilities

• Reconcile and data entry into customer’s system of record and the WM System.
• Analyze data and transactions for root cause analysis using excel spreadsheets.
• Monitor and key data for several in-transit buckets within SAP for finance department reporting.
• Compile and maintain cycle count data for management reports to customer.
• Monitor failed transactions and physically reconcile discrepancies.
• Coordinate between customer support, suppliers and customer on inventory issues for resolution.
• Investigate any/all shrinkage of inventory and advise departmental manager.

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 1-3 years Warehousing experience; preferably with barcode system
• Working experience with cycle count and inventory control
• Knowledge of and experience with inventory systems and/or Topex
• Working knowledge of SAP inventory
