Arhaus Upholstery in Conover, NC is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator to ensure accurate counting and documentation of received materials and delivery to the correct department. The role is non-exempt, full-time, and uses hourly wages; workdays are Monday through Friday with potential overtime.

The position reports to the Purchasing and Sourcing Manager in Receiving, with duties including BOM-based material pulling, PO requisitions, and periodic inventory.

Qualifications

  • Must lift up to 100 lbs and operate a handheld scanner.
  • Experience in receiving and inventory processes preferred.
  • Able to work a fast-paced environment with basic math skills.

Responsibilities

  • Pull materials based on BOM Pick List for production.
  • Process Purchase Order Requisitions for Production Materials to maintain stock.
  • Verify incoming parts against packing lists and purchase orders.
  • Assist with unloading trucks and moving materials to correct locations.
  • Assist with periodic physical inventory and keep stock area organized.
  • Follow safety policies and wear required PPE.

POSITION DETAILS
JOB PURPOSE

Ensure material received is accurately counted and documented noting any discrepancies and to deliver material to the appropriate department.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Pull materials based on BOM Pick List for production.
  • Complete Purchase Order Requisition for Production Materials, maintaining accurate stock levels of supplies.
  • Verify incoming Supply parts, matching packing lists with purchase orders.
  • Assist with unloading trucks and moving materials to the correct location.
  • Assist with periodic Physical Inventory.
  • Keep Supply cage neat and organized.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Inventory Control Specialist or Receiving Supervisor.
WORKING CONDITIONS

Heated and cooled furniture manufacturing plant with concrete floors.

QUALIFICATIONS
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

3+ years receiving experience.
