Job summary

The Simplot Company is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Clerk in Oregon to classify and organize pallets, maintain finished inventory records, and coordinate with cold storage operations. You will audit packaging conditions and help develop keeping policies for factory quality and warehousing systems.

Responsibilities include processing restricted or held product dispositions, data entry via terminals and handhelds, performing physical inventories, and ensuring timely reporting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; two-year degree preferred.
• Warehousing or Inventory keeping experience preferred.
• Must obtain job qualification certification within 3 months of hire.
• Able to read, understand, and communicate effectively; basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate in support of Operations the disposition of restricted or held product.
• Maintain accurate records of finished inventory and movements to and from the cold storage.
• Enter and retrieve data of activity into terminals or handheld devices.
• Perform physical inventories and report discrepancies with calculations.
• Work in a high pace environment with forklift traffic and ensure safety.
• Contribute to sanitation duties to maintain a tidy workplace.
• Support training of other plant personnel as needed.
