Job summary

Simplot Company is seeking a Warehouse/Inventory Associate at the GF Plant in Ontario, US. The role focuses on classifying and organizing pallets, maintaining inventory records, and coordinating with cold storage operations.

You will perform data entry on handheld devices and terminals, audit packaging condition, and participate in policy development for warehousing systems. A high school diploma is required, with a preferred two-year degree and prior warehousing experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Two-year degree preferred.
• Warehousing or inventory keeping experience preferred.
• Must obtain job qualification certification within 3 months of hire.
• Must read, understand, and communicate effectively to perform duties.
• Must be able to perform math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages).
• Must have basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the disposition of restricted or held product.
• Maintain finished inventory records and movement to/from operations to cold storage.
• Enter and retrieve data on devices and computer terminals.
• Conduct physical inventory counts and report discrepancies.
• Verify calculations and adjust discrepancies as needed.
• Support sanitation and training activities in a fast-paced warehouse.
• Communicate shift information and maintain timely records for management.
