Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking an Inventory Clerk for our new operation in Laredo, Texas. This role offers a 3:00 pm – 12:00 am shift, $19.66 base rate, and a benefits package including PTO, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K, and discounts.

Responsibilities include ensuring counts match inventory, updating WMS, and coordinating with checkers to ensure accurate receipts. Safety-conscious, detail-oriented individuals are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in warehouse inventory.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn WMS.
• Must use handheld scanners.
• Read, write, understand and speak English.
• Ability to multitask with precision and follow-up reporting.
• Willingness to travel and adhere to schedule.
• Work safely and follow procedures.

• Document product recalls and segregate as required.
• Document and train inventory procedures with warehouse operations.
• Assist with daily and weekly reports.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Position Details

Monday to Friday 3:00 pm – 12:00 am (weekends/holidays as required)

• $19.66 base rate

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensuring system count matches physical inventory

• Resolve discrepancies at location and pallet level

• Look for missing product in storage locations

• Update WMS to match physical through various methods

• Research and document root cause

• Accurately receive inventory

• Work with checkers to ensure accurate receipt of inventory

• Audit inbound receipts, both physically and through receipt documentations

• Manage unsalable inventory to resolution

• Accurately document information on product recalls, including physically segregating as required.

• Work with inventory management to document and train inventory procedures to warehouse operations

• Assist with daily and weekly reports

• All other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in warehouse inventory preferred
• Basic computer skills preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
• Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules
• Read, write, understand and speak English
• Ability to handle multiple tasks independently with precise detail and follow-up reporting.
• Must have knowledge of computers and ability to learn WMS and various internal applications
• Must use handheld computers / scanners
• Operate various material handling equipment; occasionally moving product in warehouse
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.
