Firefly Aerospace in Briggs, Texas, is seeking a Shipping and Receiving associate to join the production team. The role supports operations, maintenance, IT and systems at our rocket production facility north of Cedar Park.

You will focus on accurate receipt of materials and orderly warehouse workflow. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, basic math skills, and attention to detail, with the ability to lift heavy items, operate data-entry software, and work on a structured receiving

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong math, attention to detail and data entry skills.
• Ability to operate basic software and enter data accurately.
• Able to lift at least 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Experience in a structured warehouse or receiving environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support 2nd Shift Mon-Fri 3pm-11:30pm.
• Inspect incoming deliveries for order accuracy and damage.
• Match quantities and part numbers to procurement data.
• Note and refuse inaccurate or unacceptable orders.
• Record received items and route to inventory cage.
• Notify on shortages and backorders to affected parties.
• Signal delivery to recipients listed on orders.
• Maintain documentation to AS9100/AS9102 requirements.
• Keep track of MTRs and quality inspection records.
• Assist Engineering with timely receipt verification.
• Support Quality Manager with records and audits.
• Prepare outgoing shipments with proper packing and labels.
• Assist Procurement with records and returns.
• Follow safety rules and wear required PPE.
• Perform other duties to ensure efficient operations.

SUMMARY

Come help us support the Supply Chain that builds Rockets We are looking for high energy individual with exceptional attention to detail The Shipping and Receiving position provides critical support for operations maintenance IT and systems Come be part of something special This position is located at our rocket production facility north of Cedar Park in Briggs TX

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Must be able to support 2nd Shift Monday Friday 3pm 1130pm
• Monitors and inspects all incoming deliveries for order accuracy major defects or damage during shipping
• Compares quantity part numbers and supporting documentation of items received with procurement data to ensure completeness and accuracy of order
• Notes inaccurate or unacceptable orders received and refuses to accept these items from delivery service
• Records received items and routes inventoried parts to the inventory cage
• Records shortages and backordered items notifying affected parties
• Signals delivery to Recipient listed on order
• Maintains awareness of deliveries that require Quality Documentation flagging all orders that do not include the necessary documents as per AS9100AS9102 requirements
• Maintains material test reports MTRs and externally provided quality inspection records for inventory
• Supports Engineering by tracking accurate timely receipt of orders
• Supports the Quality Manager with recordkeeping nonconformances corrective actions and audit support
• Prepares outgoing shipments to ensure proper packaging address information packing list Hazmat signage and item accuracy
• Supports Procurement with recordkeeping and returns
• Follows safety regulations including wearing proper safety clothing and gear at all times
• Performs other duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment

QUALIFICATIONS
