Join us to apply for the Inventory Control Clerk I role at Firefly Aerospace.

This position is located at our rocket production facility north of Cedar Park, in Briggs, TX.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect all incoming deliveries for order accuracy, defects, or damage during shipping.
• Compare quantity, part numbers, and supporting documentation of received items with procurement data to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Record received items and route inventoried parts to the inventory cage.
• Record shortages and backordered items, notifying affected parties.
• Prepare outgoing shipments with proper packaging, address, packing list, Hazmat signage, and item accuracy.
• Support Engineering by tracking accurate, timely receipt of orders.
• Support the Quality Manager with recordkeeping, nonconformances, corrective actions, and audit support.
• Follow safety regulations, including wearing proper safety clothing and gear at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned to ensure an efficient work environment.

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or GED
• Basic math skills
• Attention to detail
• Software operation and data entry skills
• Physical stamina to perform duties, including lifting, pushing, or pulling at least 50 pounds, standing for long periods, crouching, bending, and reaching.
• Personal and communication skills

Desired

• Experience in a structured, automated receiving environment or warehouse
• Odoo ERP/MRP experience
• Forklift operation
