In This Position, You Will Have the Opportunity to:
- Review, revise and enforce inventory control procedures including, but not limited to:
- Movement of inventory including into and out of quality hold)
- Use of finished goods and raw materials in production
- Appropriate rotation of inventory
- Review, update, and draft written policies to direct team and other departments
- May train team members on the use of and compliance with inventory control system
- Preserve security of inventory on quality hold
- Help revise and improve the cycle count program, and manage the cycle counting process
- Determine cycle count schedule for monthly, quarterly and annual counts
- Ensure scheduled counts are completed in a timely fashion and appropriate adjustments are made
- Assess inventory performance utilizing statistical and analytical methods
- Conduct cycle count process consistently and accurately for all materials in all warehouse locations
- Investigate variances and implement corrective actions
- Manage metrics to track progress
- Facilitate the return of finished goods correctly back into inventory after product is processed by Customer Service
- Help implement and manage inventory bin locations and barcodes in the warehouse
- Ensure all transactions are completed and maintain the integrity of the locations on the system
- Coordinate with appropriate managers on all inventory issues
- Perform various other miscellaneous duties as deemed necessary by supervisor
- Fill in for and offer assistance to other inventory positions as needed
- Set up bin locations correctly in all systems
What You Need to Succeed in This Position
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- High energy with a ‘can-do’ attitude and a passion for continuous improvement
- 2+ years of experience in inventory or warehouse environment
- Competent writing, oral and excellent interpersonal skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and charting functions preferred
- Team Lead experience preferred, including delegation and conflict resolution
- Previous inventory and auditing experience preferred
- Hi lo and order picker certification preferred
- Ability to make presentations on inventory data if required
- Experience with ERP systems preferred

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms
- Frequently required to stand, sit, and talk or hear, walk
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; able to climb ladders up to 20 feet
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Must be willing to travel to offsite locations to perform inventory audits
