Job summary

Responsibilities

• Count and verify quantities of machine shop receipts and record in ERP.
• Execute cycle counts and assist with ERP inventory adjustments.
• Perform basic picking, kitting and put-away tasks for material flow.
• Assist with counting traceable components and coordinate shortages.
• Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, as needed.

Description

Receiving & Inspection

• Count and verify quantities of machine shop job receipts.
• Assist with recording machine shop job receipts in the ERP as instructed.

Inventory Control & Accuracy

• Execute scheduled cycle counts and spot checks promptly.
• Assist with ERP basic inventory adjustments as instructed.
• Assist with stock rotation, labeling, and maintaining clean, accurate storage areas.

Material Flow (Picking, Kitting, Put Away)

• Perform basic picking, bagging, kitting, and put away tasks.
• Stage materials for production or transfer.

Traceability Management

• Assist with counting traceable components.

Coordination & Communication

• Communicate material shortages or location issues to the Senior Inventory Control Specialist or Inventory Control Manager
• Collaborate with Receiving and Production as needed for material flow.

Equipment Operation

• Operate powered & non-powered material handling equipment, including forklifts

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic data entry skills and familiarity with Windows.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
