Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Vista, CA is hiring a Second Shift Inventory Control Clerk to verify and reconcile inventories for customers and DHL. The role operates 3:00pm–11:30pm, Monday–Friday, with a $22.25 per hour base pay plus a $2.00 per hour second shift incentive and eligibility for monthly bonuses.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months warehousing/inventory experience, forklift certification (within 30 days preferred), and a High School Diploma or equivalent.

• At least 6 months warehousing and inventory experience.
• Forklift operator certificate or completion within 30 days preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory records.
• Perform daily inventory management procedures and duties.
• Coordinate physical inventory procedures and adjust system accordingly.
• Adjust inventory for over/short, defective, and damaged product.
• Handle routine clerical tasks such as filing invoices and records.

The core responsibilities of this role include: Verify and reconcile inventories of the customer, their suppliers, and of DHL. Complete physical inventories and compile/analyze reports. Act as an interface between customer support, suppliers and customer management on inventory issues for resolution.

Position: Second (2nd) Shift Inventory Control Clerk
Shift: 3:00pm –; 11:30pm, Monday-Friday
Pay: $22.25per hour + $2.00 dollar per hr second shift incentive

Role Purpose:

Responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy by verifying all inbound and outbound orders. Insure that inventory entries and adjustments are reflected accurately in the warehouse management system.

Key Accountabilities:

• Maintain inventory records.
• Perform daily inventory management procedures and duties.
• Coordinate physical inventory procedures and adjust system as necessary.
• Follow procedures to accurately adjust inventory for over/short, defective, and damaged product.
• Perform routine clerical assignments including filing invoices and maintaining records.

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Six months warehousing and inventory experience, preferred
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment, preferred
