Job Title

Inventory Control Clerk

Compensation & Shift

Salary: $24.00/hourly

Shift: Varies

Status: Full Time

Responsibilities

• Work on the receiving dock matching all paperwork to the vendor invoice and create variances if needed, reconciling variances with Receiving/Purchasing and sending completed packages to Accounts Payable for payment.
• Check all orders filled by the warehouse for accuracy and obtain signatures from the department placing the order.
• Handle all returns by departments.
• Take weekly cycle counts for inventories of all warehouse areas with the Warehouse Manager or Supervisor.
• Research any inventory variances and document written explanations, ensuring the warehouse person counting signs the final report.
• Take cycle count inventories of Retail areas (Spa/Salon, Gift Shop & Sundry Shop) and Bistro Napa & Steakhouse wine, liquor, and warehouse inventories, with management or reconcile with management from that area.
• Document variances in writing and have them signed by Inventory Control & Management from that area.
• Input or assist in monthly kitchen counts of food inventory for all restaurants.
• Input or assist in bar counts of beer, liquor, and wine for all bars.
• Maintain all ADD/DELETE item numbers for inventory stock.
• Manage and maintain all master files in the SWS System for the entire company.
• Ensure standard inventory procedures and practices are adhered to at the company level.

Qualifications

• Physical dexterity: able to kneel, bend, and remain on feet for several hours while taking inventory and handling heavy items.
• At least 1 year of inventory control experience preferred.
• Knowledgeable in 10‑key calculator by touch.
• Self‑starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Computer literate; Microsoft Office skills are a plus.
• Experience with AS/400 computers is a plus.
• Retail background preferred.
