Monarch Casino Resort Spa in Black Hawk, Colorado, is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to join our team. You will manage receiving dock paperwork, match invoices, and perform cycle counts with supervision.

Responsibilities include reconciling variances, processing returns, maintaining master files in the SWS system, and upholding standard inventory procedures across all departments. The role offers growth opportunities within a premium resort environment.

Qualifications

• Requires physical dexterity and ability to stand for long periods.
• At least 1 year of inventory control experience.
• Must be able to count accurately using a keyboard (10-key) by touch.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; AS/400 experience a plus.
• Retail background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform weekly cycle counts for all warehouse areas with supervision.
• Reconcile variances with Receiving/Purchasing and document explanations.
• Match paperwork to vendor invoices and route to Accounts Payable for payment.
• Handle returns by departments and verify order accuracy on receiving dock.
• Maintain and update master files in the SWS system and standard inventory procedures.

Our focus is on maintaining lasting relationships with our guests and our community, ensuring that every interaction is warm, and welcoming.Job Summary:The Inventory Control Clerk responsibilities will include working on the receiving dock matching all paperwork to the vendor invoice and creating variances if needed, reconciling variances with Receiving/Purchasing and sending completed packages to Accounts Payable for payment. Checking all orders filled by the Warehouse for accuracy & obtain a signature from the department placing the order. Handle all returns by departments. Responsible for taking weekly cycle count for inventories of all warehouse areas with either the Warehouse Manager or Supervisor.*Please note this a warehouse position not a desk job*Responsibilities:Responsible for researching any inventory variances & document written explanations while ensuring the warehouse person counting with them signs the final report.Responsible for the taking Cycle Count Inventories of our Retail areas- Spa/Salon, Gift Shop & Sundry Shop as well as Bistro Napa & Steakhouse wine inventories, liquor inventory, and warehouse inventory these counts must be done with Management or reconciled with management from that area.Documenting variences in writing & signed by Inventory Control & Management from that area.Input/assist in monthly Kitchen counts of food inventory for all Monarch Casino Resort Spa Restaurants.Input/assist in month Bar counts of Beer/Liquor/Wine for all Monarch Casino resort Spa Bars.Maintenance for all ADD/DELETE item numbers for Inventory stock.Manage & maintain all master files in the SWS System for the entire company.Ensure standard inventory procedures & practices are adhered to at the company level.Qualifications:Physical dexterity- taking physical inventories where you have to kneel down or be bent over for an extended period of time.Must be able to be on your feet for several hours taking inventory.Must be able to handle moving heavy items around while taking inventory or checking orders.Prefer at least 1 year of inventory control experience.Must know 10 key calculator by touch.Must be a self starter, this position requires a self motivator that can work with little to no supervision.Must be computer literate.Knowledge of Microsoft Office is a plus.Knowledge of AS/400 computers a plus.Retail background preferred.Benefits:Enhanced health, dental, and vision insurance, along with a flexible spending account.Education, tuition, and certification reimbursement (up to $6,000 per calendar year).Growth opportunities available within department/company.Access the team dining hall with one free hot meal per shift.Company-matched 401k.Paid time off and six observed holidaysTeam Member Hotel, Retail, and Spa DiscountsTeam Member Anniversary Recognition (earn resort credit, vacation trips and more!)Save your gas and mileage on your car!
