Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is hiring for a Day Shift Inventory Control Clerk in Alabama. The role runs from 6am to 6pm with rotating days. Base pay is $19.25 per hour plus a $2.00 shift premium on weekend days.

Tenure pay increases occur at 6, 12, and 24 months. The ideal candidate shows leadership to promote a positive work culture and has basic knowledge of Blue Yonder and Microsoft Office. Responsibilities include maintaining inventory accuracy, overseeing inbound/outbound orders, and ensuring

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Six months warehousing and inventory experience, preferred.

• Perform daily inventory management procedures and duties.
• Coordinate physical inventory procedures and adjust system as necessary.
• Follow procedures to accurately adjust inventory for over/short, defective, and damaged product.
• Perform routine clerical assignments including filing invoices and maintaining records.

The core responsibilities of this role include: Counting and verifying inventory approx. 98% of the day and/or operating standing MHE including Stock Pickers, Electric Pallet Jack, Reach Trucks, and Dock Stockers approx. 95% of the day.
