Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Summerville, SC is hiring for a 1st Shift Inventory Control Clerk responsible for verifying inbound and outbound orders and maintaining accuracy in the warehouse management system. The role runs 7am–3pm, Monday through Friday, with pay of $20.50 per hour.

The ideal candidate will have leadership skills, a basic understanding of Blue Yonder and Microsoft Office, and strong record-keeping abilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Six months warehousing and inventory experience, preferred.
• Forklift operator certificate or completion of forklift-training program within 30 days, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory records.
• Perform daily inventory management procedures and duties.
• Coordinate physical inventory procedures and adjust the system as necessary.
• Follow procedures to adjust inventory for over/short, defective, and damaged product.
• Perform routine clerical assignments including filing invoices and maintaining records.

The core responsibilities of this role include: Counting and verifying inventory approx. 98% of the day and/or operating standing MHE including Stock Pickers, Electric Pallet Jack, Reach Trucks, and Dock Stockers approx. 95% of the day. Provide day to day direction and guidance to the team. Assist with training associates and monitoring associate progress.
