Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk for the 1st shift in Stockbridge, GA. You will verify inbound/outbound orders and maintain inventory accuracy in the warehouse management system.

Responsibilities include daily inventory procedures, adjustments for over/short, and clerical duties. Requires HS diploma and warehouse experience; forklift certification preferred and on-the-job training available.

Qualifications

• Six months warehousing and inventory experience (preferred).
• Forklift operator certificate or completion of forklift training within 30 days (preferred).
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

• Coordinate physical inventory procedures.

Position: 1st Shift Inventory Control Clerk
Shift: 7:00am - 3:30PM [Monday-Friday]
Pay: $19.75 per hour

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience: Must have order picker experience. High Reach Truck preferred. Strong inventory experience, making adjustments, damaging out products, Strong WMS experience.

Role Purpose

Responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy by verifying all inbound and outbound orders. Insure that inventory entries and adjustments are reflected accurately in the warehouse management system.

Key Accountabilities

• Maintain inventory records.
• Perform daily inventory management procedures and duties.
• Coordinate physical inventory procedures and adjust system as necessary.
• Follow procedures to accurately adjust inventory for over/short, defective, and damaged product.
• Perform routine clerical assignments including filing invoices and maintaining records.

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Six months warehousing and inventory experience, preferred
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment, preferred
