Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is hiring for an Inventory Control Clerk. The role focuses on maintaining inventory accuracy, verifying inbound and outbound orders, and ensuring precise updates in the warehouse management system.

The position operates first shift, Monday through Friday, with pay at $24.80 per hour. Ideal candidates have at least six months of experience with order picking equipment, forklift operation, and inventory control, including cycle counts and discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience operating Order Picker, Reach Truck and Dock Stocker.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience in Inventory Control including cycle counts and reporting discrepancies.
• At least 6 months’ experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or similar systems such as JDA, Red Prairie, Blue Yonder, SAP.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory accuracy by verifying inbound and outbound orders.
• Ensure inventory entries and adjustments are reflected accurately in the warehouse management system (WMS).
• Maintain inventory records and perform daily inventory management procedures.
• Coordinate physical inventory procedures and adjust the system as necessary.
• Adjust inventory for over/short, defective, and damaged product; perform clerical duties as needed.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:00am-2:30pm

Pay rate: $24.80 per hour

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience: A MINIMUM of 6 months experience operating Order Picker, Reach Truck and Dock Stocker. Key Accountabilities:

• Maintain inventory records.
• Perform daily inventory management procedures and duties.
• Coordinate physical inventory procedures and adjust system as necessary.
• Follow procedures to accurately adjust inventory for over/short, defective, and damaged product.
• Perform routine clerical assignments including filing invoices and maintaining records.

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Six months warehousing and inventory experience, preferred
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment, preferred
