Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk at our Litchfield Park, AZ distribution center. You will ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and reporting, while supporting QA activities and resolving inventory and quality issues to keep operations flowing smoothly.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 6 months in inventory control. Proficiency with WMOS, RF scanners, and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • At least 6 months experience in Inventory Control in a Warehouse/Distribution Center.
  • Proficiency with WMOS and RF Scanners; MS Office (Outlook, Excel).
  • Ability to read and match numbers and perform basic math.
  • Strong problem solving and root cause analysis skills.
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to work across multiple departments and buildings.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, discrepancy research, and reporting.
  • Support QA activities including inspections, rework, lock code management, and returns processing.
  • Research and resolve inventory, quality, and operational exceptions and identify trends.
  • Maintain profiling, slotting, and inventory optimization for efficient warehouse ops.
  • Collaborate with warehouse operations to resolve inventory and quality issues and provide operational support.
  • Perform other inventory, quality, and operational support tasks as needed.

The Inventory Control Clerk position is located in Litchfield Park, AZ.

  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, inventory audits, discrepancy research, and inventory reporting.
  • Support quality assurance activities including inspections, rework, lock code management, corporate requests, and returns processing.
  • Research and resolve inventory, quality, and operational exceptions while identifying trends and supporting root cause analysis.
  • Maintain product profiling, slotting, and inventory optimization to support efficient warehouse operations.
  • Partner with warehouse operations to resolve inventory and quality issues while providing operational support as business needs require.
  • Perform other inventory, quality, and operational support functions as assigned to support daily business priorities, workload demands, customer service expectations, and the site's zero-based staffing methodology.

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • At least 6 months experience in Inventory Control in a Warehouse/distribution center setting
  • Have working knowledge of WMOS (Warehouse Management Operating System) and Radio Frequency Scanner (RF Scanner)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Excel
  • Able to read and match numbers and have knowledge of basic math (addition, subtraction, and multiplication)
  • Able to solve problems and develop root cause through investigation and analysis
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Available to work in various departments and buildings as needed
  • Focus on maintaining a safe working environment at all times
  • Perform other warehouse duties as assigned
We prefer some of these qualities as well….
  • At least 1 year experience in Inventory Control, Quality Assurance, or warehouse operations
  • Experience researching inventory discrepancies, inventory transactions, or warehouse exceptions
  • Working knowledge of WES, distribution center operations and cross-functional warehouse processes
