Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Indianapolis, IN is hiring an Inventory Control Clerk. You will maintain inventory accuracy, perform cycle counts, and ensure inbound/outbound orders are reflected in the WMS.

The 1st shift pays $20.50 per hour with full benefits and opportunities for growth. Preferred candidates have at least 6 months in inventory control and warehouse experience, forklift certification within 30 days, and experience with WMS such as SAP, JDA, Red Prairie or Blue Yonder; Order Picker/Reach

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Six months warehousing and inventory experience, preferred.
• Forklift operator certificate or completion of forklift training within 30 days, preferred.
• Experience with WMS such as SAP/JDA/Red Prairie/Blue Yonder preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory records.
• Perform daily inventory management procedures and duties.
• Coordinate physical inventory procedures and adjust system as necessary.
• Follow procedures to adjust inventory for over/short, defective, and damaged product.
• Perform routine clerical tasks including filing invoices and maintaining records.

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience:

-REQUIRED: A MINIMUM of 1 years’ experience operating Order Picker, Reach Truck and Dock Stocker.
-REQUIRED: A MINIMUM of 6 months’ experience in Inventory Control to include: Cycle Count, reporting inventory discrepancies, receiving inventory, monitoring inventory levels.
-At least 6 month’s experience with a WMS (Warehouse Management System) or similar systems such as JDA, Red Prairie, Blue Yonder, SAP, etc.

Role Purpose

Responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy by verifying all inbound and outbound orders. Insure that inventory entries and adjustments are reflected accurately in the warehouse management system.

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Six months warehousing and inventory experience, preferred
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment, preferred
