Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is hiring for an Inventory Control Clerk in Horn Lake, MS. The role requires maintaining inventory accuracy, processing inbound/outbound orders, and ensuring records align with the warehouse management system.

The ideal candidate has experience with Order Picker, Reach Truck, or Dock Stocker, plus WMS knowledge. Benefits include health coverage, PTO, and retirement plans; work is Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience operating Order Picker, Reach Truck and Dock Stocker.
• Minimum 6 months experience in Inventory Control including cycle counts and reporting discrepancies.
• At least 6 months experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or similar systems such as JDA, Red Prairie, Blue Yonder, SAP, etc.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory records and accuracy.
• Perform daily inventory management procedures and duties.
• Coordinate physical inventory activities and adjust the system accordingly.

Position: Inventory Control Clerk
Shift: First (1st) Shift , Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm, Overtime required based on business needs
Pay: $20.35 per hour

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also have the following skills:

• A MINIMUM of 1 years' experience operating Order Picker, Reach Truck and Dock Stocker.

• A MINIMUM of 6 months' experience in Inventory Control to include: Cycle Count, reporting inventory discrepancies, receiving inventory, monitoring inventory levels.

• At least 6 months' experience with a WMS (Warehouse Management System) or similar systems such as JDA, Red Prairie, Blue Yonder, SAP, etc.

Role Purpose

Responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy by verifying all inbound and outbound orders. Insure that inventory entries and adjustments are reflected accurately in the warehouse management system.

Key Accountabilities

• Maintain inventory records.
• Perform daily inventory management procedures and duties.
• Coordinate physical inventory procedures and adjust system as necessary.
• Follow procedures to accurately adjust inventory for over/short, defective, and damaged product.
• Perform routine clerical assignments including filing invoices and maintaining records.

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Six months warehousing and inventory experience, preferred
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment, preferred
