Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Ohio is hiring an Inventory Control Clerk for a Wed-Sat shift (6:00 AM–4:30 PM). Base pay is $20.00 per hour with a $1.50 Saturday shift differential.

The role focuses on maintaining inventory accuracy and coordinating with the warehouse management system, with opportunities for overtime. Ideal candidates have 1+ year experience operating order pickers and reach trucks, plus 6 months in inventory control and WMS familiarity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Six months warehousing and inventory experience, preferred.
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment, preferred.
• A minimum of 1 year’s experience operating Order Picker, Reach Truck and Dock Stocker.
• A minimum of 6 months’ experience in Inventory Control including Cycle Count, reporting inventory discrepancies, receiving inventory, and monitoring inventory levels.
• At least 6 months’ experience with a WMS or similar systems (e.g., JDA, Red Prairie, Blue Yonder, SAP).

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory records.
• Perform daily inventory management procedures and duties.
• Coordinate physical inventory procedures and adjust the system as necessary.
• Adjust inventory for over/short, defective, and damaged product following procedures.
• Perform routine clerical tasks including filing invoices and maintaining records.

Role Purpose

Responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy by verifying all inbound and outbound orders. Insure that inventory entries and adjustments are reflected accurately in the warehouse management system.

Key Accountabilities

• Maintain inventory records.
• Perform daily inventory management procedures and duties.
• Coordinate physical inventory procedures and adjust system as necessary.
• Follow procedures to accurately adjust inventory for over/short, defective, and damaged product.
• Perform routine clerical assignments including filing invoices and maintaining records.
