Job Description SummaryThe Inventory Control Clerk will be responsible for inventory related functions in order to keep accurate records of raw materials and finished goods. The position will support the Manufacturing and Quality departments by maintaining accurate records of all transactions involving raw material and finished good movements. The position will also be responsible for conducting periodic cycle counts to ensure the integrity of the system.
Second Shift: M-F 2:30pm - 10:30pm

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing material transactions including receiving, shipping, transferring, and counting of raw materials and finished goods. This includes generating reports from the ERP system as needed.
  • Responsible for reconciling any discrepancies between the perpetual inventory records and actual physical count of materials.
  • Conduct periodic cycle counts to insure the integrity of the system.
  • Assist in investigating any anomalies found during the course of daily activities or cycle counts.
  • Coordinate the destruction of obsolete, excess, or otherwise unusable materials.


Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Forklift Experience

  • Ability to read/write English language documentation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes preferred.

Skills:

  • Knowledge of basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite) required.

  • Strong math skills required.

  • Excellent communication skills required.
