About ECU Health Duplin Hospital

ECU Health Duplin Hospital is an 81-bed facility located in Kenansville, North Carolina. The 15-bed emergency department serves approximately 25,000 patients per year. In addition to providing general medical and surgical services, ECU Health Duplin Hospital offers chemotherapy and other cancer infusion interventions and has earned national designation as a Primary Stroke Center.

Position Summary

The Supply Chain Clerk orders, retrieves and stocks patient care unit/divisional supplies.

As a Supply Chain Clerk, you will:

• Assist with adding new supply items and removing supply items from inventory management systems.
  
• Check inventory locations for missing labels, broken bins and correct.
  
• Maintain Inventory locations in a clean and safe condition. Regularly check for and remove expired supplies and restock returned/unused supplies into inventory management system.
  
• Retrieve items from the stockroom to address short term supply need.
  
• Retrieve specialty items from stockroom or other areas.
  
• Return items to stockroom and review and update inventory system counts.
  
• Reviews low/critical inventory reports and address with clinical leader.
  
• Meets regularly with customers to ensure their need are met.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma required
  
• Some college courses preferred but not required
  
• 0 - 1.9 years service

Other Information

• This is a PRN, As Needed Position
• Shift: Monday - Friday (7:30 am - 4 pm)
• Required to work weekends, when needed
