Job summary

Gourmet Foods International is looking for an Inventory Control Specialist to maintain inventory accuracy and support warehouse operations. You will perform cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, validate returns, and maintain records across multiple systems.

You will work in a fast-paced distribution environment, improving product integrity, accuracy, and efficiency while complying with food-safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Ability to learn and utilize multiple inventory management systems.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.
  • Maintain accurate physical inventory and verify against system records.
  • Validate customer returns against return sheets, pickups, and invoices.
  • Research and resolve inventory discrepancies and shortages.
  • Assist with audits, reporting, and documentation of inventory transactions.

Job OverviewAre you detail-oriented, organized, and ready to grow your career? Gourmet Foods International is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to help maintain inventory accuracy and support warehouse operations. In this role, you will be responsible for cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, quality inspections, processing customer returns, and maintaining accurate inventory records across multiple systems. This position plays a key role in maintaining product integrity, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency within a fast-paced distribution environment.What does your day look like?
