Job OverviewGourmet Foods International seeks a reliable, detail-oriented Order Selector to prepare customer orders for shipping accurately. This position is responsible for selecting, organizing, packing, and preparing products while maintaining quality, accuracy, and productivity in a fast-paced fulfillment environment.The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team while maintaining a strong focus on product quality and order accuracy.What does your day look like? Some of your duties may include:Select, organize, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficientlyPack products carefully to prevent damage during shippingVerify product quality and order accuracy before shipmentSeal, label, and prepare shipping containers for distributionMove completed orders to the appropriate shipping or staging areaMaintain an organized workflow to support timely order fulfillmentPerform basic warehouse and fulfillment duties as neededKeep workstations stocked, clean, organized, and safeFollow food safety, quality, and warehouse safety proceduresAssist with other warehouse or fulfillment activities as business needs requireThings you need to be able to do:Strong attention to detail and commitment to order accuracyExcellent organizational skillsAbility to follow directions and meet productivity expectations and deadlinesAbility to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a teamAbility to lift up to 40 pounds as neededAbility to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shiftAbility to bend, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasksAbility to work in temperatures generally ranging from 50°F to 55°F and enter refrigerated areas as neededAbility to work in cold environments for extended periodsAbility to wear required safety footwear and personal protective equipmentConsistent, regular attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this position.
