Gourmet Foods International in Ashland, VA is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to maintain inventory accuracy and support warehouse operations. You will perform cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, verify returns, and operate Power Warehouse/Power Enterprise to ensure product integrity in a fast-paced, refrigerated environment.

The role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn multiple inventory systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in inventory control or warehouse environments preferred.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) beneficial.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Experience in food distribution or regulated environments a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.
• Maintain accurate physical inventory quantities and verify against system records.
• Validate customer returns against return sheets, pickups, and invoices.
• Research and resolve inventory discrepancies and shortages.
• Operate Power Warehouse and Power Enterprise systems to keep records up to date.

Gourmet Foods International is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to help maintain inventory accuracy and support warehouse operations. In this role, you will be responsible for cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, quality inspections, processing customer returns, and maintaining accurate inventory records across multiple systems. This position plays a key role in maintaining product integrity, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency within a fast-paced distribution environment.What does your day look like?
