Job description

The purpose of the Inventory Control Associate position is to service all aspects associated with the daily functional inventory control in the distribution center or warehouse, including moves, cycle counts, assisting inbound and outbound associates, processing damages, and reconciling discrepancies.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform Cycle Counts
2. Process Damages
3. Report all Inbound Discrepancies to the Inventory Control Supervisor or Manager
4. Assist Operators with Discrepancies and System Issues
5. Prepare for and Assist with Annual Physical Inventory

Requirements:

• Knowledge of or ability to learn SAP
• Knowledge or ability to learn HighJump Warehouse Advantage system and/or customer operating systems
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, 365)
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to handle recurring problems
• Basic math skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a color-coded environment
• High accuracy in data entry
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
