Job summary

Pet Food Experts, LLC is hiring an Inventory Control Associate to maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and quality control verification. You will read work orders, review spreadsheets for incoming products, and slot items with correct min and max pick levels based on product velocity.

The role requires the ability to read, write, and understand English, strong attention to detail, and independent problem solving. Starting pay is $20.30 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and understand English, including numbers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and time-management.
• Independent problem-solving abilities.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Proficient computer skills; Google apps preferred.
• Experience with Infor is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders and receive verbal instructions for tasks.
• Review spreadsheets to locate new products arriving at the facility.
• Slot items and maintain correct min/max pick amounts by velocity.
• Assist with quality control issues including defects and updates.
• Prepare products for distribution for close-out based on reports.
• Adhere to safety procedures and GMP guidelines.
• Maintain reliable transportation and flexible schedule.

What You'll Do:

The Inventory Control Associate is responsible for maintaining accurate reporting of inventory through cycle counts and quality control verification.

• Read work orders and receive verbal instructions for work assignments
• Review spreadsheets to locate new products that will be arriving in the facility
• Slot items and maintain correct minimum and maximum pick amounts based on the type and velocity of the product
• Assist departments with quality control issues including: out-of-date product, new minimum and maximum pick amounts and products affected by manufacturer defects
• Prepare product to be distributed for close-out based on specific reports
• Perform functions, accountabilities and supporting activities while complying with safety procedures, rules and regulations including GMP guidelines
• Candidate must have reliable transportation, flexible schedule, solid attendance and a positive, professional attitude
