Job summary

Pet Food Experts is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Lead to support the inventory team and assist the Warehouse Management team. You will train staff, lead in the absence of management, and uphold safety and efficiency across the warehouse.

The role requires strong English skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced distribution environment. Expect progressive responsibilities and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and understand English; identify numbers clearly.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, preferably in distribution.
• Certified to operate warehousing equipment including forklift, reach truck and electric ride‑on jack.
• Knowledge of safety precautions and hazard awareness.
• Strong attention to detail and good time-management; ability to multi-task.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Reliable transportation and flexible schedule; attendance matters.

What You’ll Do

The Warehouse Inventory Lead is responsible for performing the functions and accountabilities required in the Inventory Department, including supporting the Warehouse Management Team with training, leading and directing other warehouse personnel in the absence of management or when required.

Summary of Essential Functions

• Perform the functions and accountabilities required for the inventory team.
• Support the Warehouse Management team with training, leading, and directing other personnel in the absence of management.
• Lead by example, motivating and inspiring the warehouse employees to maintain high performance and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Perform functions and supporting activities while complying with safety procedures, rules and regulations.
• Assist other departments on an as‑needed basis.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write and understand English, including identifying numbers.

• Knowledge of warehouse operations, preferably in a distribution environment.

• Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.

• Work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate in a team environment.
• Reliable transportation and flexible schedule; solid attendance and professional attitude; mentor and set good example to team members.
• Strong working knowledge of company WMS; computer proficiency to utilize time and attendance system and Google G‑Suite office applications.
