Pet Food Experts is a leading pet specialty distributor serving thousands of retailers nationwide. This role focuses on receiving, locating, slotting, and preparing inventory for distribution while ensuring quality and safety.

The ideal candidate maintains accuracy, communicates clearly, and works well in a team, with a reliable schedule and on-site operations. The position offers starting pay between $19.50 and $23.50 per hour depending on experience, with full benefits and overtime

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and understand English, including identifying numbers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and follow up skills.
• Extraordinary attention to detail and good time-management.
• Independent problem solving skills.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and in a team environment.
• Proficient computer skills; Google preferred.
• Experience with Infor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders and receive verbal instructions for work assignments.
• Review spreadsheets to locate new products arriving in the facility.
• Slot items and maintain correct min/max pick amounts based on product type and velocity.
• Assist departments with quality control issues including outdated products and defects.
• Prepare products to be distributed for close-out based on specific reports.
• Operate in compliance with safety procedures and GMP guidelines.

What You\'ll Do:

• Read work orders and receive verbal instructions for work assignments


• Review spreadsheets to locate new products that will be arriving in the facility


• Slot items and maintain correct minimum and maximum pick amounts based on the type and velocity of the product


• Assist departments with quality control issues including: out-of-date product, new minimum and maximum pick amounts and products affected by manufacturer defects


• Prepare product to be distributed for close-out based on specific reports


• Perform functions, accountabilities and supporting activities while complying with safety procedures, rules and regulations including GMP guidelines


• Candidate must have reliable transportation, flexible schedule, solid attendance and a positive, professional attitude

Starting Pay: $19.50-$23.50 per hour DOE

Schedule: Tuesday- Friday: 5:00am- 3:30pm
