Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a team member to support distribution for assigned units, handling inventory, orders, delivery, stocking and charge processes while helping develop systems and maintain records.

Responsibilities include FIFO stock handling, proper labeling, following health department regulations, storeroom setup and general cleaning to support a safe, efficient distribution area.

• Maintain information in identified systems and ensure distribution services meet customer and operation needs.
• Manage first in/first out, date labeling, cleaning schedules, and health department regulations in distribution areas.
• Assist distribution team with inventory, receiving, unloading and rotating stock, storeroom setup and general cleaning.

Job description

Current Employees and Students:

• Responsible for managing distribution chain for assigned units. This includes developing and implementing appropriate inventory, orders, delivery, stocking and charge process. Assists with the development of systems to support these activities. Maintains information in identified systems. Ensures distribution services meet the needs of customers and operation.
• Maintains assigned locations with following first in/first out; uses appropriate date labelling and follows appropriate cleaning schedules for these areas. Ensures health department regulations are followed.
• Integrates distribution functions within area, department, and across organization.
• Supports department distribution team with activities including completing inventory; receiving, unloading and rotating stock, storeroom set up, and general cleaning of distribution areas in kitchen.
