Job summary

Avanos Medical is seeking an Inventory Control Analyst to partner with 3PLs, monitor inventory accuracy, and drive improvements across distribution networks. This role requires on-site presence at the Plainfield, IN distribution center and a strong background in inventory control, SAP S/4, and BI reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with excellent quantitative and analytical ability and 4-8 years of related business experience.
• On-site collaboration at the Distribution Center in Plainfield, IN (Tue, Wed & Thu).
• Understand 3PL Warehouse Management System capabilities.
• Experience in annual inventory management controls review for 3PL DCs.
• Ability to identify opportunities for supply chain improvements, organize, plan, influence, and communicate plans across supply chains.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary liaison between Avanos and 3PL partners, overseeing inventory control processes.
• Monitor inventory accuracy, analyze performance, investigate discrepancies, and drive corrective actions.
• Lead KPI analysis, audits, and documentation to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
• Oversee 3PL inventory activities, disposition of non-saleable inventory, and ERP data integrity.
