Job summary

Avanos Medical is seeking an Inventory Control Analyst to act as the primary liaison between Avanos and its 3PL partners, based at the Plainfield, IN distribution center. This role focuses on inventory accuracy, KPI performance, and continuous improvement across the distribution network.

You will lead data-driven investigations, ensure transaction integrity, and support audit/compliance activities while collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory control processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with quantitative and analytical ability
• 4–8 years of related business experience
• Identify opportunities for supply chain improvements and communicate plans
• Understand 3PL Warehouse Management System capabilities and inventory controls

Responsibilities

• Lead inventory KPI analysis and reporting to drive performance
• Monitor inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies across the network
• Maintain audit/compliance documentation for inventory control activities
• Coordinate with 3PL and SAP data for cycle counts and inventory reconciliations
