Job summary

KeHE Distributors, LLC in Dallas, TX is seeking an Inventory Control Analyst who can blend data, process, and people to improve accuracy in a fast-paced DC. You will own a temp zone and drive cycle counts, with a focus on root cause analysis and data-driven decision making.

The role requires 3–5 years in inventory control, experience with Excel/Power BI/SQL, and ability to lead colleagues in a high-volume environment. KeHE offers benefits and an employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Experience owning a dedicated inventory or workflow area within a high-volume DC.
• Familiarity with reporting / data querying (Excel, Power BI, SQL, etc.) and MS Office.
• Ability to build and interpret inventory trend analysis.
• Prior experience facilitating cross-functional projects with DC or operations leadership involvement.
• Strong leadership and decision-making in absence of direct management.

Responsibilities

• Own root cause analysis on large-value inventory adjustments and cycle count variances, documenting impact and preventing recurrence.
• Manage Recall, DAP, UDR, VFR, Salvage, and Donation protocols with accuracy and compliance.
• Translate quantitative findings into concise narratives for DC leadership.
• Maintain ownership of the assigned temp zone, guiding daily workflow and issue resolution.
• Conduct cycle counter audits and coach opportunities with the DC IC Manager.
• Prioritize daily IC tasks based on business needs and longer-horizon deliverables.
• Establish bi-weekly meetings with Site Director to address temp zone issues and cross-functional problem solving.
• Mentor Sr. Cycle Counter and model data literacy and cross-functional accountability.
