Job summary

Atkore, Hobart, IN facility, is seeking an Inventory Control Associate to partner with warehouse operations to maintain accurate inventory tracking across the site.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of warehouse experience at an associate level.
• Experience with RF Smart units in a warehouse environment.
• High School education or GED.
• Efficient and safe use of PIT equipment is required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
• Strong math skills for quick and accurate counting.
• High attention to detail and time management.
• Adaptable to changes and able to handle multiple demands.
• Positive attitude and team player.

Responsibilities

• Participate in cycle counting of finished goods.
• Operate PIT at ground level and up to +30 feet.
• Assist with reconciliation of inventory counts.
• Manage daily reporting.
• Support safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvements.
• Lead with a continuous improvement mindset and enhance processes.
• Train and develop team members; enforce safety rules.
• Understand computerized systems for inbound and outbound processes.
• Be flexible and adapt to change.
• Other duties as assigned.
