Job summary

Peoplelink Staffing, in partnership with a prominent Manufacturing Warehouse in the Tullahoma, TN area, is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to join their team on 2nd shift.

The role maintains accurate stock levels by performing cycle counts and audits, operating forklifts, and moving items efficiently. Requires forklift certification, 1–2 years in inventory control, and strong data-entry skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid forklift certification.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse, or related role.
• Proficiency with inventory management systems (3PL experience a plus).
• Basic computer skills including spreadsheet applications (Excel or similar).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Peoplelink Staffing, in partnership with a prominent Manufacturing Warehouse in the Tullahoma, TN area, is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to join their team!

Summary:

• Shifts Available:
  • 2nd Shift 3pm-11pm
• Pay: $18.00 -$20.00
• PPE Needed: Steel toe

Position Summary:

The Inventory Control Clerk maintains accurate stock levels by conducting regular cycle counts and inventory audits in line with company guidelines. Operating forklifts and other material handling equipment, this role is responsible for moving, storing, and organizing products efficiently. Key duties involve tracking supply counts, flagging discrepancies between physical stock and system records, and identifying damaged, returned, or misplaced items.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Valid forklift certification required; minimum 1 year of forklift operating experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in an inventory control, warehouse, or related role.
• Proficiency with inventory management systems (3PL experience a plus).
• Basic computer skills including spreadsheet applications (Excel or similar).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility and openness to changing priorities.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to operate a forklift and other powered industrial vehicles for extended periods.
• Frequently required to use hands to handle materials; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
