Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Port Deposit, Maryland is seeking a Cycle Counter to support inventory integrity within a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will perform cycle counts, audits, and collaborate with the Inventory Supervisor to resolve discrepancies while maintaining GMPs and safety standards.

The role offers weekly pay, benefits, and opportunities for growth through training and hands-on support. Prior warehouse experience and basic math skills are beneficial for success in this position.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year warehouse experience.
• Ability to build professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors).
• Manage multiple assignments and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Read location, date and product codes.
• Work independently and as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Audit inbound and outbound shipments.
• Participate in physical inventories as necessary.
• Provide floor support to Operation Supervisors and hourly associates regarding inventory issues.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies as needed.
• Maintain GMPs with emphasis on safety.
• Ensure inventory accuracy to meet client demands.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Problem Solver / Driver Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay $21.50 per hour
• Overtime Pay $32.25 per hour
• Schedule: First Shift FHD Sunday - Tuesday 6:00 am - 5:45pm, every other Wednesday 6:00 am - 5:45 pm

Cycle Counter position is responsible for conducting cycle counts and audits, assisting in researching and reconciling inventory discrepancies and assisting the Inventory Supervisor in any inventory related functions.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience
• Ability to
  • Create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
  • Manage multiple assignments and tasks, set priorities, and adapt to changing conditions and work assignments
  • Recognize and read location, date and product codes
  • Work independently and as a member of a team
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
• Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, division and multiplication) (beginner level)
• Depending on location may be required to be equipment certified
• Safety Sensitive Position, Non-Regulated Tech - Depending on location, may be required to operate and be equipment certified
