Job summary

Samtec is seeking an Inventory Clerk to join our Wilsonville, OR cable production site. This is a day shift position, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, with starting pay of $22/hr.

The role emphasizes organization, computer skills, and time management to support internal customer service and efficient material flow. Responsibilities include moving materials between facilities, performing quarterly cycle counts, inventory fulfillment, and receiving duties.

Qualifications

• Similar experience in a manufacturing site.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs. from floor to waist routinely (push, pull, lift required)
• Must be able to sit/stand for at least 90 consecutive minutes.
• Demonstrated work ethic and attendance.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to pay close attention to detail.
• Must have a high sense of urgency.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Move all materials between shipping & receiving, point of use stations, and storage.
• Perform cycle counts of all materials within facility on a quarterly basis, more frequently for high turn products.
• Fulfillment of inventory, and receiving duties as assigned.
• Act as back up for shipping & receiving.
• Filing and archiving documents such as: material certs, shop orders, and engineering folders.
