Job summary

Samtec in Wilsonville, OR is hiring an Inventory Clerk for a day shift (Mon–Fri, 8:00am–4:30pm) with a starting pay of $22/hr. The role emphasizes organization, strong computer skills, and internal customer service while moving materials, counting inventory, and handling receiving duties.

Ideal candidates will have manufacturing experience, ability to lift 50 lbs, and the stamina to sit/stand for extended periods, with excellent attention to detail and urgency.

Qualifications

• Similar experience in a manufacturing site.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs from floor to waist routinely (push, pull, lift required).
• Must be able to sit/stand for at least 90 consecutive minutes.
• Demonstrated work ethic and attendance.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to pay close attention to detail.
• Must have a high sense of urgency.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Move all materials between shipping & receiving, point of use stations, and storage.
• Perform cycle counts of all materials within facility on a quarterly basis.
• Fulfillment of inventory, and receiving duties as assigned.
• Ability to work independently and as part of the team.
• Act as back up for shipping & receiving.
• Must have excellent computer skills – Outlook, Excel, Word, Manufacturing Planning & Inventory Systems.
• Filing and archiving documents such as: material certs, shop orders, and engineering folders.
