Job summary

Compositech Products Manufacturing in Wisconsin is seeking an Inventory/Material Handler to support production by stocking materials, staging for lines, and issuing stock paperwork under the guidance of the Inventory Control Manager.

The role requires English proficiency, strong organizational and time-management skills, basic math, and experience with inventory systems. Forklift certification and prior manufacturing experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• (1) One year of related experience preferred.
• Demonstrated organizational and time-management skills.
• Working knowledge of Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Ability to prioritize and manage daily workflow.
• Strong problem solving skills and good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials and stage materials for production lines.
• Maintain inventory labeling and documentation for stock items issued or received.
• Stock inventory shelves and ensure accurate location records.
• Audit parts in stock locations as directed by Inventory Control Foreman.

Job Title:

INVENTORY/MATERIAL HANDLER

Reports To:

INVENTORY CONTROL MANAGER

Position Summary:

To perform this job satisfactorily, an individual must be able to perform essential job duties with minimal supervision. Must be able to perform a variety of duties including the physical and administrative task involved in storing and distributing parts and materials.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The following duties and responsibilities are essential. Other duties may be assigned and/or applied:

Fill requisitions, work orders or request for materials; staging material to ensure production lines are stocked for manufacturing needs; completing all paperwork necessary for stock items issued and forwards information to Accounting and/or Inventory Control Manager (May produce “kits” for Production)

• Marks all inventory using a variety of means according to the organization’s specifications
• Organizes and maintains facility inventory for efficient material storage and handling while providing documentation to ICF
• Maintains the labeling system on each “stock” item
• Manually stocks inventory shelves with items received
• Properly stores all inventory items as per the organization’s standards
• Provides documentation to ICF on nature, quantity, value and/or location of material, supplies or equipment received, used or issued to the organization’s personnel
• Periodically auditing parts in all stock locations at the direction of Inventory Control Foreman

Education/Experience:

Reasoning Ability:
