APPLIED OPTOELECTRONICS INC based in Sugar Land, Texas is looking for an Inventory Management specialist to oversee material handling and ensure accurate inventory control. You will be responsible for managing Goods Issue (GI) and Goods Receipt (GR) transactions, performing regular inventory audits, and supporting daily inventory operations.
This role requires 2 to 3 years of experience in electronic parts inventory management, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Multiple shifts are available based on business needs.

Managed daily material movements, including material issuance and receipt activities related to AOI purchasing and inline production work order returns. Ensured timely and accurate processing of all material transactions while maintaining proper custody of inventory to prevent loss or damage. Conducted monthly and annual physical inventory counts and followed departmental procedures for inventory operations, including goods receipt and goods issue, in accordance with material storage requirements to ensure proper handling and control of inventory materials.
