Job summary

Daniels Manufacturing Corporation is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to ensure accurate processing of daily material transactions in inventory. The role requires basic math, problem solving, and standing for extended periods.

You will perform cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, and communicate corrective actions to management. Responsibilities include counting in both locations, maintaining organized inventory, coordinating with Shipping/Receiving, and upholding a safe work

Qualifications

• 1-2 year’s recent experience in Inventory Control.
• Familiar with cycle count.
• Knowledge of FIFO (First In, First Out).
• Comfortable using a computer, Microsoft Office and manufacturing software programs.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to concentrate for long periods of time while standing.

Responsibilities

• Perform inventory count and cycle counting in both the upstairs and downstairs location.
• Reconcile Inventory with accuracy.
• Analyze discrepancies and communicate to management any needed corrective action.
• Consistent and punctual attendance is required.
• Keeps inventory in an organized fashion.
• Communicate with Shipping/Receiving on completed orders.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Physical strength to push, pull and lift up to 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
