Job summary

Gunnebo Group is seeking an Inventory Clerk in Milford, OH to maintain precise inventory records and support efficient warehouse operations. This role runs Monday to Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm, with a pay rate of $19–$21 per hour.

You will handle receiving, storage, counting, and data entry, while upholding safety and Lean/5S standards. The position requires a high school diploma and forklift certification, with experience in Sage and general warehouse practices preferred.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; inventory/warehouse experience preferred.
  • Familiar with material handling equipment; licensed forklift operator.
  • Experience with data entry on computers; Sage experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory records for receiving, storing and issuing stock.
  • Conduct regular physical counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Update inventory databases and documentation; review reports on stock movements.
  • Organize storage areas for efficiency and safety; support audits.
  • Operate equipment safely and participate in Lean/5S initiatives.

Job description

The Inventory Clerk is responsible for accurately maintaining and tracking inventory levels, ensuring proper storage and organization of goods, and assisting in the efficient operation of the warehouse. This role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Work hours are Monday through Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm.

Pay rate is $19 to $21 per hour

  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, including receiving, storing, and issuing stock.
  • Conduct regular physical counts of inventory and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Update inventory databases and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Review reports on inventory levels, discrepancies, and stock movements.
  • Assist in organizing storage areas for efficiency and safety.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment in accordance with all safety regulations.
  • Support audits as needed.
  • Safely operate material handling equipment while adhering to all incident and accident reporting procedures.
  • Participate in Lean initiatives and Kaizen/5S protocols, ensuring all processes and procedures are followed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Must be familiar with the most common material handling equipment and be a licensed forklift truck operator.
  • Must have experience using computers for data entry.
  • Previous experience with Sage a plus.
