Job summary

Axis Pipe and Tube LLC, located in Bryan, TX, is seeking an Inventory Clerk to maintain and organize our pipe inventory. You will scan, receive, stock parts, and ensure accurate labeling of size, weight, grade, and location across the yard.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and the ability to work safely in a loud environment. Prior experience is helpful, and you will participate in pre-shift meetings and annual inventory tasks to support our oil and gas

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-3 months related experience and/or training.
• Able to read and understand the Standard Operating Procedure.
• Must follow basic Safety Rules and Regulations.
• Computer experience (Office) required.

Responsibilities

• Attend pre-shift daily meetings conducted by the shift lead/supervisor; review safety talk, priorities, and planning.
• Maintain pipe inventory including customer, size, weight, grade, and location.
• Keep yard inventory organized with correct pipe locations.
• Conduct annual physical inventory of the yard.
• Complete assignments from Supervisor as needed.

Inventory Clerk

Full Time Clerical Bryan, TX, US

Brief Summary:

The inventory clerk is responsible to inventory (scanning), organize, requisition, receive and stock parts and supplies.

Responsibilities:

• Attend to pre-shift daily meetings conduct by the shift lead/supervisor, to go over safety talk, daily priorities, andbuildings schedules (per production planning reports), check the non-scanned pipe from SAP report and the yardplanning.
• Responsible for maintaining the pipe inventory, including but not limited to, customer, product size, weight, grade,and the location of each pipe being stored.
• Maintains pipe inventory yard along with location of pipe.
• Conducts an annual physical inventory of the yard.
• Responsible for completing any assignments given by Supervisor, even those assignments not specifically listed inthis job description.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); is preferred.
• Or one to three months related experience and/or training.

Working Conditions:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. Theemployee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and outside weatherconditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.

Physical Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds
