Job summary

Manpower in Brookings, SD is seeking an Onsite Service Specialist to join the Customer Solutions Department. You will support inventory management and customer operations, manage onsite inventory solutions, and build strong relationships with clients through exceptional service.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Experience in inventory management or customer service is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in telephone sales, outside sales, inventory management, storeroom operations, or customer service.
• Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Proven track record of success with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work on your feet for extended periods, and comply with customer safety and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage onsite inventory solutions, including VMI, vending, and storeroom programs to support customer operations.
• Perform ordering, receiving, stocking, and inventory optimization activities to maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Build strong customer relationships through exceptional service and execution of the CARE program.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and coordinate repairs of vending and inventory management equipment.
• Utilize Salesforce and routing software to document daily activities, track service efforts, and identify growth opportunities.
