Job summary

National DCP, LLC is hiring an Inventory Buyer in Duluth, GA to strategically plan inventory purchases across NDCP locations. You will coordinate with internal and external partners to support procurement needs and maintain ERP data integrity.

The role requires collaboration with Operations, Transportation and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery, explore LTO launches, and manage inventory metrics such as DOH and fill rate. Bachelor’s degree preferred with 0–5 years’ related experience.

Qualifications

• Microsoft Office skills required (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 0-5 years’ experience in a related position is common for this level.
• SAP experience preferred; familiarity with ERP systems is expected.
• Industry-accepted certifications (APICS/ISM/CPP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and plan inventory positions based on demand, supplier capabilities, code dates, warehouse needs, and capacity through purchase orders for all NDCP locations.
• Manage daily relationships with suppliers in assigned category.
• Assist in executing LTO and permanent product launches and participate in supplier discussions.
• Maintain communication with suppliers to ensure inventory availability and on-time deliveries.
• Collaborate with Operations and Transportation to resolve receiving issues and discrepancies.
• Maintain business metrics such as DOH, stock levels, and fill rate to service business needs.
• Place purchase orders on time and ensure compliance with lead times.
• Maintain ERP item and supplier data integrity for the assigned category.

The Inventory Buyer strategically coordinates and plans inventory purchases to support overall inventory and procurement functions within the NDCP system. The Inventory Buyer will work closely with internal and external partners to support overall business requirements throughout the NDCP organization.

Responsibilities

What you will do:

• Review and plan inventory positions based on demand, supplier capabilities, code dates, warehouse needs, and capacity through placement of NDCP purchase orders for all NDCP distribution locations.
• Manage daily business relationship and interaction with all suppliers in assigned category.
• Assist in executing LTO and permanent product launches for products within category. This includes active participation in discussions for supplier production, NDCP inventory planning, and Dunkin Brand updates.
• Maintain an open line of communication with all category suppliers to ensure inventory availability and on-time deliveries.
• Interact daily with Operations and Transportation teams in all facilities to help resolve receiving issues, delivery discrepancies, and other inventory-related topics.
• Responsible for maintaining business metrics (Inventory DOH/Stock Levels/Fill Rate) that are required to service the business needs of DBI.
• Place purchase orders on time and compliant with supplier and freight lead time requirements.
• Responsible for maintaining ERP system integrity on all item and supplier level data within assigned category.
