Job summary

National DCP, LLC in McDonough, GA is hiring a Warehouse Supervisor for the second shift, Sundays through Thursdays, starting around 12 noon. You will oversee briefings, safety, and daily workflow to meet delivery schedules.

You will supervise and train staff, enforce OSHA standards, monitor performance, and coordinate with maintenance and vendors as needed. This role offers competitive pay and a benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5 years of supervisory experience in warehousing or distribution.
• 3 years of warehousing or distribution experience.
• Proficient with a Warehouse Management System (WMS); Manhattan Active preferred, SAP, and ADP.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all levels.
• Flexible schedule and strong customer-service focus.
• HS diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, instructs, and monitors warehouse staff daily to improve productivity.
• Provides training to ensure a safe working environment and OSHA compliance.
• Coaches team to meet operating standards and resolve problems.
• Ensures staff have training and tools to meet job requirements.
• Allocates workloads to meet route departure times and attend meetings.
• Maintains data accuracy and evolves reporting as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, instructs, and monitors warehouse employee’s production efficiencies and error performance daily.
• Supervises, instructs, and conducts regular training to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with all OSHA and NDCP safety practices and guidelines.
• Provides supervision, counseling, and coaching of warehouse employees to ensure compliance with operating standards and to assist with problems.
• Responsible for ensuring employees in their respective functional areas have adequate training and tools necessary to meet defined job requirements.
• Deploys warehouse employees and distributes daily workloads to ensure route departure times are met.
• Participates in staff meetings and attends other meetings, training sessions and seminars as required.
• Assists in administering random drug screening of employees.
• Performs other functions as required by management.
• Ensure that the cleanliness of the warehouse meets or exceeds FDA and OSHA guidelines.
• Delegate cleaning and maintenance tasks to team members when required.
• Monitor the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as the general warehouse, Freezer/cooler, offices, conference rooms, parking lots and outdoor recreation spaces.
• May perform routine maintenance on facilities and make repairs as needed and/or schedule routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors.
• Maintain day-to-day operations of facilities, such as delegating or completing maintenance orders and preparing facilities for changing weather conditions.
• Maintain accuracy of all data reported, consistently evolve existing reports, and create new ones as needed.

Supervisor Responsibilities

This position supervises others: Approximately 40 warehouse associates.

Qualifications

• 5 years of previous supervisory experience or equivalent required
• 3 years of warehousing or distribution experience required
• Proficient with a Warehouse Management System (WMS), Manhattan Active preferred, SAP, and ADP.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills demonstrated while interacting at all levels of the organization
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Flexibility in work hours/days; ability to adapt to business needs
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Strong analytical and problem resolution skills
• Results-oriented with the ability to follow through without constant supervision
• Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and remain organized
• Ability to prioritize and complete tasks and responsibilities in an ever-changing and fast-paced environment
