Job summary

National DCP, LLC (NDCP) is seeking a Financial Analyst- FP&A to join our Duluth, GA team. This role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, and reporting across multiple areas of the company’s finances to provide stakeholders with insights into financial drivers.

The analyst will develop robust financial models, support strategic initiatives, and coordinate with internal groups to ensure alignment. On-site in Duluth, GA with core daytime hours.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business administration required.
  • Master’s degree in business administration or similar preferred.
  • 1–2 years of relevant FP&A experience required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products required; Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple items independently.
  • Strong grasp of general business, financial concepts, and accounting principles.

Responsibilities

  • Assist budgeting and forecasting by partnering with key business functions to understand drivers of financial performance.
  • Develop financial models and improve existing models and processes.
  • Provide financial support to functional teams to drive strategic decision making.
  • Perform detailed analysis of financial metrics and identify actionable insights.
  • Analyze past results with variance analysis and identify trends for improvements.
  • Support monthly financial reporting with trends, write up findings in non-financial language.
  • Manage and report on rebates and earned discounts as needed.
  • Validate store-delivered pricing in system output including taxability and costs.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, Sourcing and Finance to resolve price discrepancies.
  • Ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.

Position Overview

The Financial Analyst will have responsibilities for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting in several areas

within the Company’s finances, providing company stakeholders with an understanding of the drivers

in variances.

The Analyst will be the subject matter expert on all things relating to the areas they work,

as it pertains to the various internal users of this data, and its derivatives. This will necessitate regular

coordination with various internal groups to ensure alignment.

Additionally, the Analyst will play a role in developing robust financial models, pro-forma financial statements, and other requirements as part of high-visibility corporate strategic initiatives.

The Analyst must have organizational and time management skills, and the ability to solve problems.

Schedule: On-site in Duluth, GA at NDCP Corporate HQ, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Core day hours

Responsibilities

What you will do:

  • Assist driving the budgeting and forecasting processes by partnering with key business functions to understand the activities driving financial performance and coordinate related inputs.
  • Develop financials models and proactively look for ways to improve existing models & processes.
  • Provide financial support to functional teams across the business to drive strategic decision making and support business activities.
  • Perform detailed analysis of financial metrics, providing actionable insights to management and leveraging trends to support forecasting and financial planning processes.
  • Analyze past results by performing variance analysis and identify trends to make recommendations for improvement.
  • Support monthly financial reporting by providing analysis of financial trends in comparison with expectations and past performance. Write up and visualize the key takeaways or findings in a non-financial voice for understanding across the organization.
  • Manage and Report on rebates and earned discounts as needed.
  • Validate store-delivered pricing accuracy in system output by maintaining all variables in addition to product cost – taxability, sourcing fees, markup, etc.
  • Work with suppliers, Sourcing and Finance partners to resolve price discrepancies.
  • Ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.

Qualifications

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or Business Administration required.
  • Master’s degree in business administration or similar preferred.
  • 1-2 years of relevant FP&A experience required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products required. Intermediate experience of Excel & PowerPoint.
  • The ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple, often competing interests while working independently.
  • Strong grasp of general business, financial concepts, and accounting principles.
  • Some understanding of SAP is a plus. ( SAP Analytics Cloud )
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail as well as the ability to summarize results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to groups.
  • Ability to “make it happen” and embrace the Culture of Accountability.
